    Product Description

Common Names: Strawberry Tree, Irish Strawberry Tree, Cane Apple

    Short Description:
Arbutus unedo is an attractive evergreen shrub or small tree native to the Mediterranean region and Western Europe. It is valued for its glossy dark green foliage, clusters of delicate white to pink bell-shaped flowers, and unique strawberry-like red fruits that ripen in autumn. A hardy and drought-tolerant plant, it is an excellent choice for ornamental gardens, wildlife habitats, and edible landscapes.

    Germination Tips:
For best results, soak the seeds in water for 24 hours, then cold stratify them for 4–8 weeks at 2–5°C (35–41°F). Sow seeds on the surface or lightly cover with a thin layer of well-draining seed-starting mix. Keep the soil consistently moist and maintain temperatures of 18–22°C (65–72°F). Germination is slow and irregular, typically taking 1–3 months, though some seeds may take longer.
