    Pusa Asita is a high-quality black carrot variety developed for excellent root color, uniform shape, and sweet flavor. It produces smooth, deep-colored roots that are rich in nutrients and suitable for fresh consumption, salads, juicing, and cooking. This variety performs well in cool growing conditions and is an excellent choice for home gardens and kitchen gardens.

    Germination Tips:

    • Sowing Depth: 0.5–1 cm (¼–½ inch)
    • Temperature: 10–25°C (50–77°F)
    • Germination Time: 10–20 days
    • Light: Full sun (at least 6 hours daily)
    • Soil: Loose, deep, well-drained sandy loam free of stones and clumps
    • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist during germination but avoid waterlogging.
    • Tip: Sow seeds directly where they will grow, as carrots do not transplant well. Thin seedlings to 5–8 cm (2–3 inches) apart once they are established for straight, well-developed roots.
