    Short Description:
Trichosanthes dioica is a perennial climbing vine widely cultivated across South Asia for its nutritious, tender green fruits. The elongated fruits are prized in curries, stir-fries, and traditional dishes. The vigorous vine grows rapidly on trellises and produces abundant harvests during warm weather.

    Germination Tips:

    • Soak seeds in warm water for 12–24 hours before sowing.
    • Sow seeds 1–2 cm deep in a well-draining seed-starting mix.
    • Maintain a temperature of 25–35°C (77–95°F) for best germination.
    • Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
    • Germination typically occurs within 2–6 weeks.
    • Provide strong sunlight and a sturdy support structure for the climbing vines.
    • Transplant seedlings when they have developed several true leaves and the weather is consistently warm.
